Stephan Weishaupt used his sensitivity and character to create something that did not yet exist at such a high level on the North American continent. He curated the most outstanding European furnishing and accessory brands, and soon began developing his own collections. Collaborating with designer duo Yabu-Puschelberg from the beginning, Avenue Road now has showrooms in New York, Toronto, Miami Beach, Vancouver, and other cities.
The New York branch of the concept store is located in the atmospheric Flower District on the fifth floor. Here, well away from the noise of the streets, design lovers can indulge and discover—including chandeliers and crystal from Lobmeyr. Carefully curated as a holistic concept, Avenue Road’s showrooms offer a full spectrum of interior architecture, design, and art.
