The “Hofburg” service was created by Lobmeyr for the Imperial Court of Vienna in 1835.
The service is on view in the palace as part of the Imperial Collection and is still used for official state receptions. Hand-cut and polished, massive and extravagant in style, it remains one of the greatest royal crystal services ever produced.
