Tino Valentinisch

Tino Valentinitsch (*1972 in Vienna) is an Austrian designer of brands, furniture, interiors, exhibitions, consumer and luxury goods, and packaging.

Son of Austrian design pioneer Dietmar Valentinitsch, he developed an understanding of and interest in design, fashion, art, and lifestyle at a very early age. He studied industrial design in Essen and began working for Aldo Cibic, co-founder of Memphis, in Milan during his studies. He moved to New York in 2004, finding work with the most renowned brands, companies, and agencies.

In 2011, he finally took over his father’s design studio, Valentinitsch Design, in Vienna. Over the years, Tino Valentinitsch travelled to Japan, New York, China, and Italy to work with such influential figures as Yohji Yamamoto, Helmut Lang, Donatella Versace, Richard Pandiscio, Alex Wiederin, Aldo Cibic, and many others.

“Wiener Stutzen”

In 2011, Tino Valentinitsch designed the “Wiener Stutzen” for Lobmeyr, an elegant, fresh symbiosis of the classic dimpled beer mug with handle and a plain tall beer glass. As such, the glass has found popularity in the revival of small beer gardens and pubs in Vienna. The Wiener Stutzen (0.5 litres) is joined in the collection by the “Wiener Seiterl” (0.3 litres) and the “Wiener Pfifferl” (0.2 litres).
