The chandeliers for the Metropolitan Opera in New York were the most important project of this period and bore one oft he most significant design of the 20th century. The Met Chandelier is not only synonymous for Lobmeyr, it is also the cradle for a whole range of desgins Now, 40 years later the importance of this ground breaking design is none the less.
